 Intimations for 27th  May 2018



1.       Sunday-School meets weekly in Ceres in term-time.

2.       Monday Soup - The Soup Team will continue to be serving soup on Monday lunchtimes throughout June - last day will be June 25th.  We look forward to welcoming our usual friends as well as some summer visitors.

3.        What is the Bible?: How an Ancient Library of Poems, Letters and Stories Can Transform the Way You Think and Feel About Everything”   - A new book by Rob Bell. Do read the book and join the email conversation! Books available from Jim. 

4.       Next Prayer Group meeting will be held on Tuesday 5th June in Kemback Church.  Housegroup next meets Tuesday 22nd May when we will be studying the Psalms. All welcome.

5.       Wednesday drop-in Café in Springfield 10.30am-12noon.

6.       Sanctuary next meets on Wednesday 30th May:  12-1pm and 6.30 – 7.30pm.  Music, readings and silence.  This month’s theme:  Heart and Soul”.  Soup available after lunchtime Sanctuary.

7.       FOOD-BANK: Whilst all in-date items are gratefully received they are short of the following; Macaroni Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese, White Sugar, Orange Juice, Long Life Milk, Tins of Ravioli, all tinned and packet foods.

8.       Refuge Fife: donations of warm clothing, new underwear, nappies, buggies, blankets, toiletries, mobility aids, tents etc to Myra Todd. Or phone 01334 828 284 for collection. We are also looking for tools for a woodworking and carpentry workshop, either manual or electrical; stationery and educational supplies and sewing and craft items. Myra has a full list if anyone would like one. 

9.       Guild Afternoon Tea – 2nd June 2-4pm in Kemback Hall.

10.   Hour of Prayer for our new venture The Gathering: Sunday evenings – 3rd, 10th and 24th June from 7-8pm at the Manse.     

11.   Session Meeting - Wednesday 6th June in Session Hall at 7pm

12.   Supper for former Board members. Takes place in the manse on Thursday 7th June at 7pm.

13.   Seminar for everyone on Saturday 9th June at the Manse – 10 for 10.30am exploring the “Church of Scotland’s Learn initiative: Children and Young People”.  All welcome.  Please speak to Jim if you would like to stay for lunch which will be provided.
